This is a convenient way to monitor the light. Set it so you won’t have
to remember to plug it in or set it for the wee hours of the morning to allow for 10-hour
days in the winter or for extra heat during brooding. This timer is grounded for safety.
The light and the timer are not recommended unless you have short days
during the winter.
