Excited Hens

There is no excitement for these chicks. They need a Henspa!

As you approach the coop to get the eggs, the hens get excited and mill about on the end of the sunroom that will soon give them fresh grass and the hope of catching some bugs.

The hens walk right along on the ground as you move the coop.  If you want to move the unit a longer distance, you can wait until they go upstairs at night. Place a board over the hole so they can't go downstairs.  There is a setting on the lever that give 6" of ground clearance and is recommended for long moves when the chickens are locked upstairs.
