Moving the coop every day also discourages many predators from
digging under the coop wall.
Because ground contact is broken with every move, the wood does
not wick up water providing a permanent pathway for rot, hence the wood stays
strong longer. Also, there is a 3/4" plastic runner on the bottom edge of
the long walls that provides a further moisture barrier.
