Henhotel SE (for 50 hens)

Combining beauty and technology.

The Henhotel SE uses solar power and high tech paint to create an egg production system that will produce eggs with the least amount of effort for many years. It includes a solar powered electric fence.

The egg nests and feeder retract allowing the unit to be delivered after many miles of highway driving. Contact us for an estimated price for delivery and installation or pick it up at Ringgold, VA with your truck or van.

There are 3 solar chargers.

  1. Inside Lights
  2. Door Control
  3. Electric Fence

A compass facilitates orientation of the building and of the solar collectors. (The panels must face South.)

The ramp automatically goes up at night and down in the morning, eliminating the need to visit the coop twice a day to let the chickens out and to close them up at night.
A reliable motor, timer and system of counter balanced weights with steel cables assure years of trouble free door operation.
Feed for a week is delivered via the food grade plastic feeders. Flower boxes on both sides enhance the beauty of the system.
Feeder seen from inside, Note the floor allows the manure to fall to the ground eliminating the need to clean the unit.

The feeder itself disassembles simply for easy cleaning.

The egg collection system allows the eggs to roll away from the nest into a secure egg collection area. A shelf on top of the nests permits storage of the egg cartons that are included with the system.
The eggs are laid on Astro Turf laying pads that are easily removed for cleaning. The pads rest on top of a wire floor that allows dust and dirt to fall through to the ground below.
The is plenty of roost pole space.

The roof includes a ridge cap venting system, More chickens are harmed by heat than by cold. This system provides very adequate ventilation to keep it cool.

Special leaf-free gutters direct rain water into a catchment system. Nipples on the bottom of the reservoir inside and outside deliver clean water.
Chickens clean pastures by eating the larva that would otherwise become worms that infect livestock.  Visit our On-Line Store for pricing information and to customize your color selections. Or see Our Price List
